Suzuki Book 2 Violin – Gavotte From “Mignon”

mqdefault

A slow play-through (0:47) (make sure you’ve got your bowings sorted out for the theme of the first bar, you don’t need to be practicing the wrong bow patterns!) – followed by a faster play-through (5:05). If you need help with technical issues on this piece look for my Practice clip for it.

  1. My son and I have been playing along with your videos each night. I was a
Suzuki kid but I can’t read music so this helps me to help him practice.
    Thank you so much!!

  2. Thank you so much for all of the videos you make. They are extremely
helpful and I love how you have a slow and a fast play though. I’m 33 years
    old and have been ayubfb

  5. Thank you so VERY much for these great tutorials. My 8 year old started
learning suzuki method from a professional violist friend of ours a year
ago. She moved recently and we have been trying to help him ourselves while
she does an occasional video lesson. He has learned 3 new songs thanks to
you. Please, please keep up the great posts! Thanks again.

  6. Thank you so much!!! It is very sweet of you!
I would like you know how grateful I am for your work.
My son is learning to play all these musical pieces with you.
    Thank you very much!

  7. Thank you! Your videos are great, and they are helping me to learn as an
adult:) I’m wondering if you could tell me how you achieve the wonderful
light, almost spicatto bowing in the second, faster play through? Is that a
special bowing technique; I can’t quite get the same effect. Thank you,
    your talents are much appreciated!

  8. Obrigado! Estes excelentes vídeos-aulas têm me ensinado muito.
